PATRICK J. CASSIDY, JR. MEMORIAL FUND

The Patrick J. Cassidy, Jr. Memorial Fund, established in November 2008, is a tribute to the memory of Pat Cassidy, who loved kids and dogs and was a great friend to many. Pat is greatly missed by family and friends throughout the country. One of Pat's passions in life was coaching youth ice hockey in the Houston, Texas Interscholastic Hockey League. Therefore, distributions from the fund will be awarded annually as the "Pat Cassidy Fairplayer Award" to a student athlete who plays in the Houston Interscholastic Hockey League. As a general guideline, recipients will consistently demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship, excellence, and hard work, and honor the value of "fair play." Recipients will be selected by the fund administrator in consultation with coaches and officials from the Houston Interscholastic Hockey League.

"Sea-Fever" 
 
I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky, 
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by, 
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking, 
And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking. 
 
I must down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide 
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied; 
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying, 
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.
