The Emily Johnson Play It Forward Fund offers three scholarships - the Emily Johnson Soccer Scholarship, the Emily Johnson Creativity Scholarship, and the Valley Wide soccer scholarship.

ABOUT EMILY

Emily was a vivacious 16 year old young woman, with a magnetic personality that always attracted people to her and made each one feel special.  She was beautiful, vibrant, and energetic.  She loved her family and friends and never stopped letting them know.  Emily was the captain and “heart” of her Coal Ridge High School soccer team.  She was passionate about the game and her enthusiasm was contagious! She was extremely creative, especially with photography and film.  Her crazy ideas were legendary, and she brought so much laughter, fun, and joy to everyone!  Making a difference was so important to her.  Since she was a little girl, she fought injustice and prejudice, rallied people to her causes, and after death, saved five lives and helped dozens more through the donation of her organs, corneas, bones and tissues. Emily lives on in them, and in the hearts of all of us who were so lucky to know and love her.

• Online: donate with a credit card or your PayPal/Google Checkout account by clicking one of the links below. Please note: PayPal deducts a small transaction fee from each donation. CHARITYSMITH is a Google grant recipient, and Google Checkout does not deduct a transaction fee.
